Cassidy von Cheviot Hills is a handsome 6 month old German Shepherd puppy. He is very intelligent and learns quickly. People are impressed with his poise for such a young puppy. He does well with other dogs and is in a foster family with two male shepherds, he knows which one to stay away from and which one to play with. He follows cues from the other dogs and has fit easily into a new situation. He loves to eat, but you can stick your fingers in his food and he doesn’t care. He eats lined up with his foster brothers and everyone respects the other’s food. He isn’t a jumper or a digger or a chewer, he barks rarely to alert. Cassidy will chew on a hoof but that is it, he's not even interested in slippers! He walks well on a leash and is working on his commands. He wants to be in the bedroom sleeping with the family. So far his only draw back is that he decided to start playing on the bed with the older puppy in the family at 2:00 in the morning, other than that he has been perfect.  He needs to be with another dog in his new family, he also doesn’t like to be crated. His housebreaking is going very well; he just needs to be taken out frequently. Our best guess is that he will be around 70 pounds when full grown. Cassidy would be fun to do advance training with because he is so smart. You can see it in his face. He also loves to watch big screen TV on the couch, he doesn’t know about popcorn yet. He is neutered, chipped and has his shots and we are asking a donation of $400 for him.
